It may have been a while since I last posted here but I haven't been resting on my laurels. You may recall I announced a series of photography workshops at Hatfield Forest back in January. The first of them is almost upon us now and I've been busy planning for it in recent weeks.
The workshops are ideal for anyone who's interested in taking creative control of their photography and making better photos. We'll be learning to get our cameras off automatic mode so you are in control, rather than leaving it to the camera. They may be marvels of modern technology but there are times when our cameras get things wrong. By learning to use some of the manual controls you can ensure your photos live up to your expectations and match the beautiful places you visit. We'll also be learning about composition, helping you to create more dynamic and interesting photos.
I've been out in Hatfield Forest this afternoon, planning our locations for the workshops and I feel sure there will be no shortage of beautiful scenes to photograph. The buttercups (all 30 million of them!) are just beginning to bloom and I have no doubt the forest will have a carpet of gold on the plains by the time of the first workshop on 16th May.
