For our final day in Malta we headed for the southern end of the island and the village of Marsaxlokk. This harbourside village is known for its colourful fishing boats. Down by the water we found some geese resting among the boats and they seemed only too happy to pose for me.
The fishing boats have the eyes of Osiris painted on the front as an amulet to keep the fishermen safe while at sea.
Marsaxlokk was another great hunting ground for interesting doors and architectural details…
More colourful fishing boats…
