As I’ve spent more time making pinhole photos over the last year I’ve begun to use some of them in competitions at our local camera club. One of my friends there has taken an interest in them and over Christmas Peter bought himself a Holga pinhole camera to see what it’s all about.
Today we spent the day in Saffron Walden, exploring and shooting photos on our respective cameras. After a little advice on framing and metering for pinhole photography Peter quickly got into his stride and we often took photos of the same scene for comparison later.
Over lunch I popped my camera on the table as we ate and the photo came out even better than I’d hoped, with large cutlery in the foreground, while Peter and I have become an animated blur!
